Adult and Teen Cell Phone Photography and Image Manipulation Workshop with Heidi Sussman

Whether you have an iPhone or an Android, you will learn how to create stunning photographs using only your cell phone in this full day workshop in Berkeley Heights with Heidi Sussman and Nancy Ori.  Start the summer off right by  learning some photographic skills that you can use all year round.

Sure, you probably already know how to take photographs with your phone but we will show some of the amazing possibilities you can do using your phone as a creative tool—especially if you want to go further with your photography and take your photos out of your phone and print them.

As you document your everyday life using only the technology of your native camera or create impressive works of art with various software applications, you will come away from this workshop a better photographer using only the ease and immediacy of your cell phone.

Two accomplished photographers  will teach you the skills you need to create remarkable images in this fun but intensive one-day workshop. We will also do some printing from some of your images.

You will learn how to observe the world around you in new ways and create compelling images using only your mobile device. Our goal is to show you how quickly you can  add to your image libraries and create a visual stories. Discover  the value of using your phone as a sketchbook.

We will do some outdoor shooting weather permitting as well as indoor still life studio shots so you can better understand the art of lighting. This is a rain or shine event. Go home with some finished prints as well as new skills and confidence to create impressive photographs with the “best” camera you have—the one that is always with you.
