In addition to having a good time\, there is a great deal to learn about photography through the practice of lighting\, styling\, composing\, and shooting food\, as well as the bonus of getting to eat some of the props at the end of the workshop! \nBYO wine and camera – even cell phone cameras can create quality images today.  Experiment with shooting several different types of set-ups with food plates\, glassware and other items to create different moods and impact.  Then take the skills you learned at this workshop to capture images of your own culinary creations\, still lifes and even portraits\, perfect for sharing on social media! \nThis lecture\, demo and hands-on workshop will help you gain confidence as you learn the secrets of lighting\, styling a great composition\, and shooting in the studio; an approach that can be applied to any other topic in photography.  There will be an opportunity to hear about and then try out the great tips in Nancy’s studio space so you can put your new skills into practice with helpful feedback.. You will work with simple yet effective types of lighting techniques to achieve different statements. There will be a review of camera handling techniques. \nThis workshop is for any level photographer who already knows the basics of how to operate their camera and is willing to explore new avenues of expression\, thoughts\, and approaches to their images.  This is not a beginning camera workshop.
